Improving prospects: our journey planner We are committed to taking people who want and need to work on a journey to improve their prospects. But we know that just addressing their vocational needs will not be enough for them to get and keep a job. So we tailor our programmes to take into account how they feel about themselves and how they live their lives. Using our six-stage 'learning journey', we plot a route for each individual to return to education or work based on his or her needs. It forms the basis of all we do. The route isn't the same for everyone, and people may start the journey at different points.
